Clinical Case Study 1

Male, 16 years of age.

First clinical consultation
From the age of 4 years the growth of his eye lashes ceased. He had approached numerous options and many years of medical treatments to no avail, which brought about inconveniences to his lifestyle.

Clinical symptoms
Pale face, thinly-built, lethargy, almost complete absence of growth of eye lashes, white-coated tongue, pulse felt is "deep, small and slow". Diagnosed to have spleen deficiency leading to insufficient blood promotion for growth of eye lashes.

According to this type of disease origin, I prescribed him with two weeks of Chinese herbal pills.

Second clinical consultation
There are signs of 80% growth of eye lashes, approximately 0.5cm in length, and he continued with herbal pill taking for the third week.

Third clinical consultation
Complete growth of eye lashes which were thick and long, extremely healthy looking, and his other clinical symptoms had disappeared. He and his mother were both elated. These are the effects and consequences of treating the root of the disease.
